ABOUT UNILAG CUT-OFF MARK, 2013/2014 ADMISSION.

     UNILAG, the University of First Choice and The Nation’s Pride, has again shown to us its high level of transparency concerning its admission procedures; this it achieves by making sure the cut-off mark is accessible to all before the release of its MERIT LIST.

In case you don’t know.....
1. How does UNILAG compute its AGGREGATE SCORE?
Ans: It follows this simple computation;

 NB: A Post JAMB Score below 40% means your name cannot be shortlisted.
2. Does UNILAG accept Two-sitting O’Level Results? What are the O’Level requirements?
Ans: No, UNILAG does not accept Two-Sitting O’Level results.
O’Level Requirements: 5 Credits including Maths and English Lang. Plus other core subjects as directed by brochure.
NB: A Credit in FURTHERMATH is required for ENGINEERING & ACTUARIAN SCI.
3.  I don’t know UNILAG Catchment Areas.
Ans: Ekiti, Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, Osun, Oyo.
4. Knowing your Admission Status Prior to Admission List
Do you have a post JAMB Score above 40%? If yes, compare your aggregate score with the merit’s cut-off mark in line with course (or of your catchment area). If your score is equal to or greater than the cut-off mark, you are QUALIFIED.
5. I am QUALIFIED for the admission but was not SHORT-LISTED. What can I do?
ASAP, with your printouts attached, address a letter to the admission office as regard OMISSION OF NAME from the merit list. Go submit in person. Most likely, your name will appear on the OMISSION LIST.
6. I am not QUALIFIED for the Admission. What can I do?
  •  Be attentive to the available CHANGE OF COURSE slots or
  • Embrace other admission opportunities from other institutions or
  • Wait till next year of admission; while engaging yourself in activities that will add values to you.
